By visiting and using our website www.vinylhome.co.nz and purchasing our products and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions so please read them carefully:
In these terms and conditions:
"Vinyl Home" is the trading name of "Vinyl Home Limited"
A reference to "we", "our" or "us" means Vinyl Home.
A reference to "you" or "your" means a Customer, any person or organisation who takes purchases or possession of the products, any person to whom charges are to be billed, or any other person visiting or using the Vinyl Home website.
A reference to "product(s)", "item(s)", "good(s)" or "film(s)" means the products as described in clause 3.
A reference to "service(s)" means services as described in clause 3.
A reference to "our website" means "www.vinylhome.co.nz".
Terms and Conditions
You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time and these changes will be deemed to be immediately incorporated into and form part of these terms and conditions. By continuing to visit and use our website and purchase our products and services, you will signify your agreement to be bound by the amended terms and conditions. We encourage you to read our terms and conditions and check back often.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Products and Services
Vinyl Home is a proud supplier of d-c-fix® sticky back plastic and window film and Smart Tiles in New Zealand. Our products are described on our website.
Prices and Payment
Our prices are set out on our website.
We reserve the right to amend our prices, products and services at any time, without notice.
We will not change the price for a product you have already completed purchase of, or for any service which you have already engaged us to provide as long as the service is provided to you within 6 months of us providing you with a price for that service.
All prices on the Vinyl Home website are stated in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of the 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST). If you are purchasing from Australia, please note that our prices will be GST exclusive and it is your obligtation to pay any tax when our products arrive at the border, and the GST exclusive price will show on your invoice when you make a purchase.
Orders will be processed in New Zealand Dollars only. We do not accept payments in other currencies.
We must receive payment in full before your order can be accepted. Orders will not be dispatched until payment is received in full.
We accept payment by credit card (MasterCard and VISA). The payment gateway we use is called eWAY.
Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form.
We reserve the right to reject an order for any reason, including:
The product you ordered being unavailable from stock;
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment; or
The identification of a pricing or product description error.
Sales and Promotions
Promotions and sales are not valid together.
Only one promotion can be used in a single order. Gift vouchers are excluded from offers.
Discounts shown online apply only to full price products.
Reductions are already reflected on prices listed on the website.
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Once an order has been placed you cannot cancel or alter the order.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges.
We recommend that you purchase as sample if you are unsure about a product.
Damaged or Faulty Items
We do our very best to ensure that all our orders are well-packed when leaving our warehouse, but sometimes accidents happen. Don't panic!
Notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery of any damaged or faulty item and include:
Pictures of the damaged item(s); and
Your invoice number; and we will send you a replacement as soon as possible, subject to stock availability.
In the event that we cannot supply a replacement, we will offer you credit or a refund.
Refunds do not apply to the original cost of postage, packaging and gift-wrapping.
We will aim to refund your order within a week.
We may request to physically inspect any faulty or damaged items. If we deem that the items have been damaged or used by the Customer the items will not be accepted as faulty.
This clause does not affect your statutory rights.
Items will only be dispatched for delivery after payment in full has been received by us.
We aim to process and send all orders within 48 hours of receiving payment. However, this 48 hour dispatch turnaround is a goal only, and we make no guarantee that all orders will be processed and sent within 48 hours.
Our delivery prices are set out on the delivery page of our website. We reserve the right to amend these prices at any time.
Availability of our website
We aim to make our website available to you to use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but we make no guarantee about the availability of our website.
If a fault happens with our website we will try to correct the fault as soon as possible.
Your access to our website might be restricted occasionally to allow us to carry our repairs and maintenance to our website.
We do not promise that:
Our website will be fully functional at all times;
Any defects or faults in our website will be fixed;
Our website is free of viruses or bugs.
We reserve the right to suspend and withdraw access to some or all of our pages on our website without notice any time and we accept no responsibility for these pages on our website not being available.
We do not capture or store any personal information about individuals who look at our website, except where you choose to give us your personal details by email or an online form to enquire or buy a product or service on our website.
Where you complete any of our online forms the personal information you give us will be used by us to provide the information or products or services you requested. This information will be held with the utmost care and security. We will not sell, trade or share this information with anyone.
No credit card details are kept by Vinyl Home for security reasons.
Joining the Vinyl Home mailing list is optional, although recommended. It will allow us to keep you up to date with the latest information including what is new in store. If you have signed up to our mailing list and would like to unsubscribe, simply email us at email@example.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject area, and you will be removed immediately.
Disclaimer: Application and Removal

Application and removal of d-c-fix® sticky back plastic and window film and Smart Tiles is at the risk of the Customer. We disclaim all liability and responsibility for any damage to furniture or surfaces as a result of the application or removal of d-c-fix® sticky back plastic and window film and Smart Tiles.
You are liable for and will indemnify us for any claims made by a third party arising from your use of our products or services.
Vinyl Home shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss whether this arises from breach of duty, breach of contract, negligence or any other way.
Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied.
Disclaimer: Colour, Description and Website
We take care to ensure that all details, descriptions, pictures and prices on the Vinyl Home website are correct. However, these details, descriptions, pictures and prices are subject to change. In addition, since all our films are printed there might be a small colour variation between rolls. We recommend that you order all the film you require for the project at the same time to make sure they are sent from the same roll.
We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance you place on the information or photos contained on our website.

If either party has any dispute with the other in connection with any goods or services provided by Vinyl Home, then that party shall set out their dispute clearly in writing and promptly deliver notice of the dispute to the other parties. The parties shall meet together in good faith to resolve it within 5 working days of notice of the dispute being received.
If after meeting together the parties are unable to resolve their dispute, the dispute will be referred to mediation. The mediator will be chosen by agreement between the parties, or if they cannot agree, by the President of the New Zealand Law Society or the President's nominee.
If the parties are unable to resolve their dispute by mediation, the dispute will be referred to an arbitrator. The arbitrator will be chosen by agreement between the parties, or if they cannot agree, by the President of the New Zealand Law Society or the President's nominee.
The parties will at all times act in good faith and cooperate with each other to resolve the dispute.
